Sara Jones, DO

I grew up in Monroe, Louisiana and recently moved back home to practice medicine at The Woman’s Clinic. I am thrilled to be back home amongst my family and work partners at The Woman’s Clinic.

After graduating from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA and attending medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine inAthens, OH, I completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at LouisianaState University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. I am a Fellow of theAmerican Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). In 2013, I received certification as a Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology surgeon.

In my practice, I enjoy taking care of both low and high-risk pregnant patients, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, and providing preventative well-woman care. When caring for patients, I employ a holistic approach with an emphasis on prevention, treatment, and reversal of common chronic diseases through nutritional and lifestyle changes.

I have two growing children, whom I adore.  In my time away from work, I enjoy growing vegetables in my garden, cooking plant-based meals, running, and spending time with friends and family.
