The Woman's Clinic physicians and nurses are striving to make a difference in perinatal mortality in Northeast Louisiana! Recent perinatal mortality statistics have targeted Northeast Louisiana
as having some of the worst outcomes in the state. One of the ways to
reduce perinatal mortality is to provide better prenatal care to all
persons. Monroe and the surrounding community suffers a gap in medical
services for the Obstetric patient enrolled in the Louisiana State
Medicaid Program. This program serves to provide obstetric services to
the underprivileged in an effort to protect the unborn thereby reducing
perinatal mortality.
The physicians at The Woman's Clinic have stepped forward to fill this gap. The Obstetricians of The Woman's Clinic have made a commitment to care for the pregnant patient on Medicaid by providing a Healthy Moms Prenatal Clinic.

The Healthy Moms Prenatal Clinic is strictly devoted to the care of low-risk
pregnant patients on the Louisiana Medicaid Prenatal program. Our
dedicated physicians and specially trained nurse practitioners provide
state of the art obstetric care for our patients at Healthy Moms
Prenatal Clinic.
